Growing up near the mighty Missouri River in eastern Nebraska inspired an early love for rivers and a passion to study, protect, and restore freshwaters. This led me to pursue a BS in aquatic restoration ecology at the University of Montana and an MS in Fisheries Science and a PhD in Water Resources Science and Management at the University of Idaho. I am currently a postdoc at the University of Wyoming, where I use a variety of tools to evaluate climate impacts on freshwater community structure and dynamics. I have a particular interest in global change, quantitative food webs, fish behavior, and invertebrate community dynamics as well as data science, visualization, and analysis.
